Nicholas Meyer (born 24 December 1945 in New York City, USA) is a film writer, producer and director best known for his involvement in the Star Trek films. Meyer directed two Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
He is besides easily-known for his tercet Sherlock Holmes novels: The Seven-Per-Cent Solution, The West End Horror, and The Canary Trainer, as well as a revisionist version of The Time Machine, the novel Time After Time, which Meyer published under the anonym & in the future adapted into a motion picture.
